These brackets are direct bolt-on upgrades for the factory brackets. With the exception of Optional Bracket 4, all use factory mounting locations — no drilling and no special tools required.
Bracket 4 requires a single nutsert (supplied with the kit) installed into the chassis rail. There is an existing hole in the rail for mounting but no thread — the hole needs to be drilled out slightly to 9mm for nutsert fitment. From the factory there is only a plastic clip in this location. If using soft rubber fuel lines, this bracket may be necessary to prevent sag. Let us know before purchase if you don't want it — otherwise all 7 will be sent.
As with the factory brackets, these accommodate the fuel lines, brake line, and fuel vapour line that run under the car. They include plastic inserts which can be custom-made to suit most fuel line sizes. If you change your setup down the track, the plastic inserts are easily replaceable and can be purchased separately.
